My Baby Blog

Received an email from my friend/former client Rick of Novell Design Studio who informed me that I’m quoted under "Bridal testimonial" for Bridal Canvas’s ezine!    http://www.bridalcanvas.com/magazine#150

Rick, you should seriously considering using Baby I, Scott & me for a campaign for the bands with colored stones for a PUSH/Bundle of Joy/Treasured Moments line.  You’re the marketing genius so now run with it!  You have at least until the fall to develop the concept/campaign!  Scott will model his palladium band and I’ll model both of mine in lifestyle shots fussing over Baby I!  I can see it now!    We have no problem dripping in diamonds!!!!

Are You Sure Pregnancy is Beautiful?

Ah, just a few days after I ate a big salad loaded with broccoli and then had horrible abdominal pains that we’re attributing to gas, followed by a sour stomach and mouth after a gagging session that went a bit to far yesterday (TMI!  I’ll spare you the ugly details), Baby Center posted the following:

“Pregnancy is a beautiful thing — but some of the side effects can be icky, embarrassing, and downright annoying. We're talking about excessive or unexpected bodily fluids, itching, swelling, gas, and ... ahem ... backed-up plumbing.

These often come with the territory when you're growing a brand-new person. But if icky pregnancy side effects are becoming bothersome”, click here http://www.babycenter.com/0_10-icky-pregnancy-side-effects_10312447.bc for the links to articles which will provide coping strategies and advice on when to ask your caregiver for help — as well as information on when seemingly harmless conditions may indicate a pregnancy problem.  It definitely put our minds at ease until our doctor appointment on Monday.

Celeb Ramblings

It’s Friday so I feel like I should end on a much more upbeat note than the aches and pains of pregnancy!  Perez Hilton reported, "Alicia Silverstone might be hitting the big screen again in the role that made her famous!  Silverstone and Amy Heckerling, the director and writer of Clueless, were recently spotted shopping together.  And according to reports, the two were chatting about a Clueless sequel!  Seriously? Almost 15 years later???”  Ran, count me in for any advance screenings you get invited to!

And also promoted on Perez & I’m Not Obsessed, my two fav online go-to sources for breaking celeb news, three years after Will & Grace, Debra Messing is in negotiations with NBC to headline a single-camera comedy about a downsized CEO who tries to readjust as a full-time wife and mother.

& for those wondering, Jennifer Hudson is NOT pregnant!  (& no, Scott, Goldie Hawn is NOT her mom!)  Heidi Klum and daughter Leni are hoping for a girl (aren’t we all?) to balance out the 2 boys!

Jennifer Lopez tells People Magazine that that her 14-month-old daughter Emme has some divalike tendencies.

"We call her Emme-tude because we're like, 'She's giving us Emme-tude right now.' "

As for twin son, Max, Lopez says she and husband Marc Anthony think he also favors his mother in some ways. "Me and Marc are always claiming he's got my head and he's got my mouth," she says.

"You want it all to be you," Lopez says, adding, [Emme's] got my little body." "That's the nature of who we are; we can't help it. We're both trying to steal it all."

One thing Lopez enjoys most, she says, is perceiving the unique qualities of each child. "They're very different," she says. "You can really see it, even from when they're really young."

How would she describe Max? "He's more like the visceral boy – running, knocking things down, eating," Lopez says.
